I find social dancing to be a lot of fun and it is very enjoyable to be able to express yourself in creative ways to the different styles of music, as well as experiment with the interactions you have with your partner while doing various movements. Another positive about social dancing is I have met many different and interesting people. Many of these people have now become good friends outside of the dance scene.

Dancing for over 20 years. With winning medals in many team routines, freestyle and dwas events over the years. Accumulating over 30 medals. In comps all over Australia. But most of all I enjoy the MYB family. Whom likewise enjoy teaching new people the joys of music and dance. It’s the biggest buzz. Finding friendships for a life time.
MYB is more than dance classes, there is such a great atmosphere that you just can't help but enjoy meeting new people and making friends who all have a common interest (dance) while at the same time having fun, trying something new and you don't even realise that you're getting in some exercise too.

Being a teacher comes with responsibilities but the rewards are far more. I now an able to unlock our students potential and enjoy seeing the progress they make and the delight on their face when they are able to confidently execute what I am teaching.
I started dancing with Move Your Body in 2004. Love the music, the fun, the challenge to learn & the people you meet. I have been competing for approx 6 years, It is so satisfying to see the people you are teaching improve! Always proud to be a part of this great team!
Jason started dancing 12 years ago. Qualifying as a Champions Level dancer in 2016. Jason is an instructor teaching from Beginner to Intermediate classes and a valued member of the administration team.
Joanne began learning Modern Jive in 2010 and now teaches for Move Your Body at an Advanced level. She also competes and judges at various competitions and enjoys involvement in team routines and team choreography.
